The 52 Project: A portrait of my children, once a week, every week in 2014
Linking up with Practicing Simplicity
I can't believe how quickly this year is going. I am loving going back through my blog to look at how my beautiful children have grown.
29/52
We've had such a busy couple of weeks that I hadn't had a chance to upload our photos for the week.
Mimsy took a little bit of time to warm up at her friend's birthday party. Waiting in line for the miniature train was very serious business!
JuJu Man on the other hand entertained himself with his current favourite thing to do - clapping his hands!
Just quietly, I'm not sure who out of my children or husband enjoyed the miniature trains the most! What a great place for a birthday party!
30/52
Mimsy loves creating, and I love that loves it.
JuJu Man is right in the midst of cutting teeth, recovering from a cold and working out a bit of separation anxiety, so I'm choosing to focus on his beautiful smile in this photo rather than the avocado stains all over his beautiful white suit! Rookie error feeding the baby sushi when he was wearing white.

Collaborate for A Cause Part 2
Collaborate for a Cause is well under way this weekend. I'm so happy to be representing Lil Pip in two collaborations. I wrote about my first collaboration here.
This is my second collaboration, and I have to say I just love it!
I joined with Three Little Chickens, Two Little Moos, ShaR handmade embellishments and Kahlia's Treasures to raise money for Ronald McDonald House Parkville.
We have created an Aztec inspired set in size 6-12 months.
I made this pair of vintie overalls using the Fresh Designs pattern. They feature snap enclosures to make nappy changes easy and are made in the absolutely gorgeous premium cotton Indian Summer range.
Secondly, I made this little wolf softie. I drafted the design myself and then hand stitched it. JuJu Man has a little hand stitched toy that he absolutely loves. It is small, durable and contains no small parts so a perfect little companion for a baby. The wolf is made with cotton and backed in premium cotton from the Indian Summer range.
The collaboration also includes
An adorable harem pants and matching appliqué long sleeve tee from Two Little Moos.
Three bandana style bibs from Kahlia's Treasures.
Bunting from Three Little Chickens.

A sprocket cushion from Three Little Chickens and a pram sized snuggie blanket from Kahlia's Treasures.
Leather moccasins and a slouch beanie from ShaR's Handmade Embellishments.
I'm so proud to be a part of this collaboration and can't wait to see how much we can raise.

Collaborate for a Cause
Collaborate for a Cause is back again, and this year I am representing Lil Pip in two collaborations.
Collaborate for a Cause is a fabulous charity auction run each year in which handmade businesses around Australia team up to create amazing packages that are auctioned off for various charities.
Last year over $48,000 was raised!
This year Lil Pip joined with Ana Ma Petit Tresor, Kolo Ko, Letter It (Name Decorative Art) and love b to raise money for Heartfelt.
This gorgeous collaboration features various pink and blue Tilda fabrics, used to create three size 3 garments, a piece of wall art, and a very special Lil Pip dolly. Mimsy is modelling our collaboration, she has just turned three and only just going into size three. The clothing is a generous fit on her.
This pretty little dolly is lovingly named Emiliana in memory of Emiliana Harris, a gorgeous little girl who's photos were recently captured by Heartfelt. She features 100% wool felt hair and shoes, cotton face, Tilda cotton clothing, ribbon laces and a hand painted face. Emiliana contains small parts (buttons) and as such she is not suitable for children under the age of three.
Emiliana is made using a pattern from A Bit of Whimsey.
The collaboration also includes:
Size 3 lounge pants from love b.
Size 3 Bay dress from Ana, Ma Petit Tresor
Wall art from Letter it (Name Decorative Art)
It was so lovely to collaborate with these other businesses, and an honour to raise money for such a wonderful charity. Please see the Collaborate for A Cause page for all of the terms and conditions of the auction, as well as how to register as a bidder.

The 52 Project: A portrait of my children, once a week, every week in 2014
Linking up with Practicing Simplicity.
Happy third birthday to my dancing loving, ever singing, funny little girl. We had fun playing in the pretend snow before going to pat some baby wombats (of which I had intended to take photos but we were having so much fun I didn't take my camera out!)
JuJu Man loved the animals as well, it was chilly but he spent the day showing off his new skills - waving and clapping!

The 52 Project: A portrait of my children, once a week, every week in 2014
Linking up with Practising Simplicity.
A little bit of a catch up this week.
26/52
Mimsy is almost three. We celebrated with her grandparents with a trip to her favourite place in the world - the carousel. She even managed to convince her Nannie to ride one of the horses.
Poor JuJu Man wasn't as much of a fan, he didn't like seeing us disappear as he went on by. Hello separation anxiety!
27/52
Lucky us spent some time in the beautiful Queensland weather this weekend, and even more lucky, we spent the morning with our friends from Elk & Bloom. It's so lovely to catch up with friends. Did you notice Mimsy's carousel dress? It's handmade from Oh My Gorgeousness.
JuJu celebrated being in the world for 8 months in style - making good use of that one little tooth.

The Lemon Revolution
We have a crazy lemon tree in our back yard.
Last week we decided to start sharing our lemons with our neighbours - this was the inspiration behind our 24/52 photos.
I've come to realise that A) our neighbours love lemons (our whole bag full had been collected in less than 24 hours) and B) collecting lemons and making notes for our neighbours is a fun activity that keeps Mimsy engaged for ages!
So we've decided to start The Lemon Revolution.
So far this revolution involves doing much the same as what we did last week. Pick some lemons, write a note to our neighbours and hang them on our gate.
Mimsy came up with the ideas on the list (except for the last one, that was me)
And she enjoyed heckling the neighbours, demanding that they take some lemons.
Episode #2 of the Lemon Revolution was a success, despite the rain and freezing weather, all of our lemons were gone by mid morning the next day.
What's next for our revolution? Not sure yet. We'll make it up as we go along. My lack of height requires a ladder to reach some more of the lemons at the very least.
I can see some cooking in our near future and hopefully some more subtle lessons on being generous.

I've just spent the past half hour looking back over my 52 project with my husband. We're really enjoying seeing this documentation and I'm so glad that I've kept it up (even though a run late very often!).
Who needs toys when you can play with a cardboard box!
Look who can sit up now!
